Phase 2 of beta has begun, as we draw ever-closer to the September 22nd release date. This means that FFXIV will now be running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (barring maintenance.)

I'm hopeing for that third option, yes yes, me want pass.

As great as the third option will seem, don't forget there will probably be a disgustingly huge download time for the client, hope you'll be ready to wait. I know I won't be D: .

Definitely hoping they'll need more beta testers for server stress tests...

I can tell you the client downloaded very quickly for some and inexplicably slowly for others. It wasn't too bad for me, but then again I don't have a Beta invite. I just want to be prepared.

Sure, if you know where to look. But even if you wait for a beta invite don't worry because the DL goes pretty fast.

I suppose I'll wait, though it'd be nice to jump right in if I do happen to get the key...

Can download the client installer if you google "FFXIV Fight Club". Just click where it says "Fite Me". Leave it patched and wait for your invite or open beta. ;o

If that were the case, you'd think they'd disable the entire page. Not just the button...

Was able to download it from the site and it's downloading updates.

Edit: Downloader just got done initializing, and it'll be 4hrs at 200Kb/s. At least I'm getting it out of the way now.
