Update 1: Added Gamestar.de to the list, they are giving away 6500 keys. As well, some of the sites had to take the the entry form offline due to problems at Square Enix. It should be back online in the next day or 2.

Five German game sites are giving away beta keys for the Final Fantasy XIV closed beta. It is unclear if these keys will be tied to the EU version of Final Fantasy XIV, but it’s worth a try. If you want a chance to participate in the Final Fantasy XIV beta, you should submit your name and email to these sites for a chance to win!

Gamestar.de – 6500 Keys
Buffed.de – 5000 Keys – currently offline
PcGames.de – 2000 Keys
Anifo.de – 50 Keys
CetraConnection.de – 50 Keys – currently offline
Since all of these sites are in German, here are a few of the words/phrases translated for your convince.

Vorname = first name
Nachname = last name
Alter = age
Absenden = Submit
Ihr Name = Your Name (first and last name)
Ihre Nachricht = Your Message (just a message to attach to the submission)
Ich wünsche eine Kopie an meine E-Mail Adresse = Send a copy of the message to my email address.

It helps to use Google Translate. And yes, a beta invite would be lovely.

Ah yes, I'll be sure to. The ones u said offline do you mean that theyre not giving anymore away?

EDIT: HOLY CRAP it translates the whole page? That's overpowered! Google ftw!

They are having problems at the moment with Square, but should still be giving invites out.

I will bump this thread once they come online again though.

I'm guessing it's just a random comment deal, so I would just put whatever you want to put.

Unless you want a bunch of german spam... I wouldn't give them your real email. This has shady written all over it.

You could try putting this in the extra comments and see how it goes over.

It might just win their hearts.

I think it would be an EU version of beta if anything. You'll most likely be able to pick English though.

Yeah, idk seems sketchy to me. How does a handful of websites get thousands of keys each, when a bunch of us FFXI vets can't get one?

I haven't gotten a single piece of spam mail and I signed up for most. We'll see what happens on the 1st of April. I wouldn't be suprised with this as I don't think they really have opened up beta to european players. From what I know.. which honestly isn't thaaaaat much.. LOL icon_cheesygrin
